Established in 1976, this family-operated remodeling business is made up of master craftsmen with over 60 years of experience in the industry.

Meet the Lonestar Team
Wayne Ball, CGR, CAPS
President
Wayne Ball has remodeling in his blood. His father was a remodeler in upstate New York, where Ball was born in 1955. As a teenager, Ball spent his summers working in the construction field and chose to study civil engineering and architectural design in college. In 1976 Wayne Ball and his father formed Lone Star Building and Construction in Houston, Texas. “I learned a long time ago that this is a service industry, not a remodeling industry. Ball has been heavily active and involved in the Houston remodeling and building industry ever since. He joined the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA) in 1984, earned his Master Craftsmen title and joined the Remodelers Council (RMC) in 2002. Ball has since served as a board member, committee chair, vice president, and later president in 2010.
Ball was honored with the GHBA “Remodeler of the Year” distinction in both 2008 and 2010.
Louis Ball, CGR

The remodeling bloodline continued when Louis Ball was born in 1962. Louis worked with his father in the construction field every summer since age 12 and explored an educational background in aviation. In 2008 Louis received his private pilot’s license and continues to fly recreationally.
Louis chose to begin his full-time construction career in 1980, working with his father and brother in Houston, Texas. Louis later became a partner of Lone Star Building & Construction Services, Inc. Louis is now a Master Craftsman with an impressively thorough understanding of all facets of remodeling and proudly serves as vice president of Lone Star. Louis handles numerous responsibilities essential to moving each project from start to finish including scheduling, supervision, and the overall production of the projects. Louis successfully completed the course from the National Center for Healthy Housing in 2009 and gained his certification to conduct lead-based paint renovation, repair, and painting activities pursuant to the standards of the EPA.
Tamie Sanchez
Secretary/Treasurer
Tamie Sanchez, has been on the Lone Star Building & Construction Services team for more than 20 years and serves as the secretary/treasurer for the company. Her duties include marketing/advertising, product selection and administrative office management. In 2012 Tamie completed an Interior Decorating course to gain additional knowledge in the field and to facilitate our clients in the selection process.
